Rebecca is also the writer of six novels about a fictional Veterinary Practice in BARLEYBRIDGE, a market town. The novels tell the stories of the vets, the veterinary nurses and the animals with which they are involved. If you own a pet of any kind these are the books you need to read.
The year 2013 has started well. I gave a talk in Stratford-on-Avon Library on the 25th March which was well attended. The evening began with wine and soft drinks and nibbles and then I gave my talk, answered questions and then signed books. Judging by the questions I think most of the audience (including the husbands) were avid readers of my series so we all had a lovely time together.
In April my next talk is to an enthusiastic writing group in Sidmouth (Devon) on the fifteenth and then on the 25th I am the speaker at a meeting of the Friends of Christchurch Library at 2.30. A busy month! Especially as I am also thoroughly enjoying writing the next Turnham Malpas book called Village Rumours out in 2014. Before that is published Village Fortunes will be out this year August 2013
Happy reading, best wishes to you all, Rebecca Shaw.
